There have been a lot of changes to the way our office looks and functions, and we felt it important to let you know about the remodel. For some time, it has been clear that the physical structure of the office needs some updates to improve function, privacy, and comfort. This all leads to one important result…an improved patient experience at our office.
It is very important to us that you are able to get appointments for regular cleanings and treatment on a timely basis. We have continued to grow, and have found that we need more dental chairs in order to help patients receive the care they require. With the addition of Dr. Andrus in 2011 and Dr. John Hardy in 2014 our practice has grown to the point that we need more room to accommodate the demand for timely appointments. Dr. McLaughlin, Dr Andrus and Dr. Hardy fully believe in prevention, and want to make sure there are as few obstacles in the way as possible.
The last time the office was fully remodeled was in the early 1990’s and evidence of this was quite obvious…turquoise cabinetry, glass bricks etc. Dr. McLaughlin painted the pink walls, and put in flooring five years ago, but bigger and more extensive improvements were needed. We changed the entrance to the building, expand our lobby area, and improve check in and check out areas to allow for better privacy and flow. We have added new bathrooms, a treatment consultation room, changing the flooring and wall coverings (sorry, no more boat wallpaper trim!), as well as adding three brand new rooms for your cleanings. The outside of our building will also be updated with new siding, new roof, landscaping, and entryway.
Growth is good, and it is a testament to the hard work and dedication of the staff and doctors at Oakmont Family Dental. We will always continue to take care of each and every patient as if they were our own family, it is our promise to you. So, while the physical environment at our practice is changed, please know that our care for each and every one of our patients will continue to be the same.
