Dental Implants in Eugene

Improve Health and Confidence with Dental Implants

Dental implants are a time-tested treatment that allows patients to replace teeth that have been lost to decay, fracture, or gum disease. Many times, because Oakmont Family Dental places the implants as well as restores them, the cost can be nearly the same as filling the space with a bridge.

Don’t Let Tooth Loss Lead to Bone Loss

Protect Your Teeth With Dental Implants

Did you know that losing a tooth can lead to bone loss and shifting of your remaining teeth? Without timely intervention, bone loss can negatively impact the esthetic result of tooth replacement.

Get the Aesthetics of Natural Looking Teeth

The advantages of implants are many. They chew like natural teeth, look like natural teeth, have a 10-year success rate greater than 90%, and can be cleaned like natural teeth (no need to thread floss under the bridge).

Affordable and Effective Treatment

Patients can replace teeth lost to decay, fracture, or gum disease as a time-tested treatment. Because we often place and restore the implants, the cost can be nearly the same as filling the space with a bridge.

Multiple Advantages

Dental implants can retain and support dentures. Whether you are a long-time denture wearer or getting your first denture, placing dental implants to retain and support dentures is becoming the standard of care.

Our Process

Experience a Painless and Quick Dental Implant Procedure

Book an Appointment

On the day of your implant placement appointment, you'll come into our office and receive local anesthesia to numb the area where we'll place the implant. The implant procedure itself usually lasts a little over an hour. Don't worry; most people report experiencing minimal discomfort during and after the procedure.

Temporary Tooth Placement (if necessary)

We understand how important it is to have a tooth in place as soon as possible for front teeth. That's why if we replace a front tooth with an implant, we'll often attach a temporary crown on the implant during the same appointment. This way, you can leave our office with a new tooth.

Final Crown Placement

After we've placed the implant, it's essential to give it time to heal before we attach the final crown fully. This can take 3-6 months, and it ensures that your implant is fully integrated. Once your implant has fully healed, we'll schedule a short appointment to attach the final porcelain crown.
